Saint Aidan’s Church, Leicester
When the underfloor heating system at Saint Aidan’s Church broke down in 2010, Vulcana came to the rescue with an efficient heating solution.
It is every vicar’s worst nightmare when the church heating packs up and the congregation is subjected to a cold and uncomfortable Sunday service. Thankfully for Saint Aidan’s Church, not long after its underfloor heating system broke down the Parochial Church Council (PCC) contacted Vulcana for help solving its heating problems.
Vulcana was quick to respond and met with the PCC to discuss the options available. After conducting a thorough heating survey, Vulcana recommended installing seven of its large gas heaters to replace the old underfloor heating system.
The new gas heaters installed by Vulcana raised the temperature of the church to 20 degrees in just under half an hour, providing a much more efficient heating solution.
